Stay focused, follow through, and finish what matters
The problem
Momentum is easy to lose. Discipline is harder to maintain.
When pressure drops, it's easy to drift, delay important work, and confuse planning with execution.
Exora is built for the moment motivation drops and discipline has to take over — with structured sessions, enforcement modes, and real group accountability.
How it works
Exora keeps you moving through the full execution loop.
Set your focus goal. Choose how hard the app should push you. Run a protected Pomodoro session. Get challenged before you can quit mid-block. Sync to your Focus Pool. Repeat.
1. Set what matters
Define your focus goal and what you're working on today.
2. Choose your mode
Pick a discipline level and session protection — from ugly-icons launcher to full app blocking.
3. Run a Pomodoro session
Focus blocks auto-transition through breaks. Exora challenges you before you can quit mid-block.
4. Close the loop
Sessions sync to your Focus Pool leaderboard. Share your rank card. Reflect. Build momentum.
Focus Pools
Shared goals make follow-through visible.
Start a Focus Pool with a clear goal, a date range, and a public or private invite flow. Each completed pool session adds to member progress and the group leaderboard.
Goal window
Every pool has a shared target plus start and end dates, so the accountability has a real finish line.
Invite or discover
Create private pools with an invite code, or make them public so others can find them from Discover.
Member progress
Completed pool sessions update focus time, session count, active days, and leaderboard position.
Shareable proof
Export a rank card with your place, focus time, sessions, and active days through your device share sheet.

Feature 03
Session protection: stay in, literally
Minimalist mode switches to the ugly-icons launcher so your home screen stops tempting you. Blocking mode closes banned apps the instant they open. Strict and Beast play DTMF noise if you reach for the dialer.

Discipline modes
Accountability that matches you.
Some days you need calm support. Other days you need apps locked and your phone making annoying sounds. Exora adapts to the intensity you actually respond to.
Session protection
None
Standard session — no extra enforcement on top of discipline mode.
Minimalist
Switches to the Exora launcher — distracting app icons become plain and ugly so the home screen stops competing for your attention.
Blocking
Accessibility service detects and closes any blocked app the instant it opens.
Both
Ugly-icons launcher plus full app blocking. The home screen loses its appeal and banned apps are closed the instant they open.
Gentle
Supportive prompts and calm accountability when you need momentum without pressure.
Balanced
Clear, steady accountability for consistent execution without overwhelm.
Strict
Firm pressure when you're slipping. App blocking activates and an annoying DTMF tone fires if you open the phone dialer mid-session.
App blocking · dialer tone
Beast
Maximum intensity. A rapid DTMF barrage plays the moment you reach for the dialer instead of working. No soft roast messages.

Core features
Designed for action.
Pomodoro rhythm engine
Auto-transitions between focus blocks, short breaks, and a long break every 4th round. Pick block size (15 / 25 / 45 min) and break lengths once — the timer runs the whole rhythm.
Focus Pools — group accountability
Create a goal room with a start and end date, invite people by code, or discover public pools. Completed pool sessions build member progress, rankings, and shareable proof.
Session protection modes
Minimalist mode makes distracting app icons plain and ugly via the Exora launcher. Blocking mode closes distracting apps via Accessibility Service. Strict and Beast play DTMF noise when you open the phone dialer mid-session.
Scheduled sessions with alarms
Plan tomorrow's deep work today. Set date, time, Pomodoro rhythm, and protection level. An alarm fires at start time — tap to launch straight into the session.
Roast-before-you-quit
Exora challenges you before allowing pause or exit during a focus block. Roast intensity scales with your discipline mode — from gentle reminder to brutal call-out.
Focus Wrap — your story in slides
Open Focus Wrap for any week, month, year, or all time to get a story-style breakdown: total focus time, streak, peak window, Pomodoro rounds, and a shareable summary card.
FAQ
A few quick answers.
Is Exora a general productivity app?
Not really. Exora is built around accountability, follow-through, and execution — whether you're working on personal goals or competing with a group through Focus Pools.
What is a Focus Pool?
A group accountability room. You create it with a goal, a date range, and an invite code. Completed pool sessions log to a ranked leaderboard. You can export your rank card as an image and share it from your device.
What is the Pomodoro rhythm engine?
Exora auto-transitions between focus blocks (15 / 25 / 45 min), short breaks (5 / 10 min), and a long break every 4th round. You configure it once at session setup — the timer runs the entire rhythm automatically, including break countdowns.
Can Exora actually block distracting apps?
Yes, on Android. Blocking and Beast modes use an Accessibility Service to detect and close blocked apps instantly. Strict and Beast modes also play annoying DTMF phone tones when you open the dialer mid-session to discourage phone calls.
What happens when I try to quit during a focus block?
Exora shows a roast modal before allowing you to pause or end the session. The message gets harsher depending on your discipline mode — Gentle is supportive, Beast is brutal. You can still quit, but you have to choose to.
What is Focus Wrap?
Focus Wrap is a story-style recap of your focus history. Choose a period (week, month, year, or all time) and swipe through full-screen slides: total focus time, Pomodoro rounds, longest streak, peak window, and the protection mode you used most. The final slide is a shareable card image.
Where does Exora work best?
Exora is built mobile-first. Android is where session protection, app blocking, launcher mode, and dialer-tone enforcement are strongest.
